Went from Qualified to Remedial Requested for DoDMERB

Hello,

I went to the DoDMERB thread to ask this question. But, no one has responded to the thread.

Maybe someone could give me some feedback on this.

I finished my DoDMERB exams during February and received a status of Qualified 2 days ago. Today, I went back on the website and said that my status was Remedial Requested.

Did my Review Status change because the Review Board found something they didn't catch the first time evaluating or does the Service Academy (USCGA) want more testing...

Hi, I was looking at the CGA website for more information on aim but can't find it. So my questions are..
1. When I sign up do I get to choose which week long experience? Or is it assigned by when you sign up?
2. What is the probability that I get accepted?
3. On a scale of 1-10 how intense is the AIM program? (1 being like a slice of cake and 10 being cutting a tree down with a dull ax)
4. Does my plan ride get paid for or do I pay for it my self?
5. What are some things that you do...

Wait list: Is this good? Possible Appointment Available Later?

My daughter received her letter that she was wait listed..does anyone know how a wait list actually shakes out for a possible appointment slot? I don't know if this is a good thing and we still have a chance or shouldwe be discouraged...anyone have any good information to share

So I have a question regarding the Coast Guard's deadlines for the academy... I submitted my application during the early action pool and then transferred it over into the regular action pool. I have no heard anything back about DoDMERB or even a denial at this point. I'm assuming that at this point in time, I should be excepting bad news soon?

My son received an email last week that his application was closed and under review by the cadet evaluation board. We are going nuts... checking forums, email, vms, mail... asking CGA cadets we know... 2nd week of March is almost done... is he done? Is it true that at this point is all just rejections and that we will get one of those gloomy emails by the end of the day on 3/31.... or is there still hope...??

New SAT optional essay

We checked everywhere on the USCGA.edu website, but we can't seem to find their policy regarding the new SAT's optional essay. If you plan to apply EA this fall and take the May and/or June 2016 SAT, does anyone know if you need to register for the optional essay? All the other schools we're interested in have posted their optional essay policies already, and no one is requiring it so far. It'll be helpful to find out before the May SAT deadline.

Hi all, the scholars handbook states application into program is due April 1st. How would my DD apply in time if she doesn't receive an offer to attend by April 1st? Any help would be appreciated. I wish you all the very best!

I talked to my coach yesterday, he was one of the people I put down(with phone number) for verification of my varsity athletics, and he said that he had not been contacted by anyone from admissions. This makes me wonder if CGA admissions really goes that far and calls your coaches and people like that. It does not matter to me whether they call him or not, but if they were going to I assume that it would be too late for them to call now, given that the board has already been meeting. Anybody...

Bear's den login: anyone else noticing additions to the applicant status page?

For the past couple days, after logging into Bear's Den login, we've noticed things being added/changed on my DS applicant status page. For example, late last week, there was an additional menu line, below the square color pictures, showing: "My applications," "My Athletic Profile," "My Events, "PW Change." Today, the menu line only says "My Events" and "My Athletic Profile." Additionally, just this morning there is a new section at the top called "Learn about the U.S. CG" with a couple...
